A: NO, you do not have to use down payment to purchase a vehicle. In most cases, the bank loves to see about 10%-20% down payment of the sales price for the vehicle. If a vehicle is $10,000 they normally like to see $1,000 to $2,000 down. Although, there have been many cases that someone purchases a vehicle with NO MONEY DOWN and they get a great deal. Just keep in mind this is normally easier to do if you pick a NEWER car with LOW MILEAGE. A great example of a NEWER car would be a 2012 Ford Focus with 50K miles. Doesn't have to be brand new but the miles are important. For more information Contact me directly, I can explain how we can get this worked out for you!
